biology of host-pathogen interactions.

We investigate how Kaposi's Sarcoma Herpesvirus (KSHV) influences metabolism, innate immunity,

cell localization and trafficking, and

host-viral protein interactions.

Our research is designed to inspire graduate and undergraduate student researchers interested in exploring human disease at the molecular level.

Research at the Sanchez Lab involves constant analysis of the hypotheses we explore. Since 2020, we have been driven by this mission of discovery.
